When we got together to create the She Traveled fashion line, we wanted to root for the woman on a mission. In early 2015, we had a literal mission in mind: we wanted to encourage young women in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who serve missions to feel empowered as they served those around them—and we knew that looking the part and feeling confident help with that.
Because we started with sister missionaries in mind we offer a 30% discount for any young woman who emails us a copy of her call to email@example.com. Once we receive your call we will send you a discount code.
We may have started because of the special modesty needs of LDS sister missionaries but we also knew that She Traveled was meant to encourage any woman—regardless of age, race, religion, or profession—to feel confident in her abilities to accomplish her own dreams. We believe that modesty, quality fabrics, and style can blend together to help define who you are while you travel, attend parties, go to work, worship, or otherwise spend time with those you love. Our fabrics are carefully selected to match our high standards of quality and durability.
Meet Our CEO:
Deborah is a woman on a mission. She sees a problem and she seeks a solution. This usually entails starting something new and innovative. In 2014, when trying to outfit her daughter for a mission, Deborah saw a big problem; finding mission appropriate clothing in retail stores. Deborah served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and knows the demands on a young woman and on her clothes. She hopes She Traveled’s clothes and blog articles will help women of all ages to find courage and comfort in who they are as women and daughters of God.
Meet Our Office Manager
Since our doors opened in October of 2015, Kate has been a solid member of the She Traveled Team. She graduated from BYU in 2010 with a degree in Public Relations and later went on to serve a mission in the Texas McAllen Mission, Spanish-speaking. When Kate isn't answering all your She Traveled questions and making sure the day to day activities are running smoothly, she enjoys popping popcorn in her Whiry-Pop, dominating her friends and family at Tenzi, and making the world's best guacamole with her husband, Kye. Last, and probably most important, Kate is a mother to the cutest little dirt magnet, Leo Fox.
Meet Our COO
Caitlin joined the She Traveled team in October 2016 and is heading up the business side of the company. She graduated with her MBA from WGU in 2016 and has experience in purchasing, retail sales, marketing and project management. Caitlin has a passion for outfitting women in high quality, fashionable apparel, and enjoys working with suppliers and manufacturers to make sure She Traveled delivers great products to their customers. Aside from her love of apparel, Caitlin enjoys the outdoors (especially horseback riding and four-wheeling), cooking, and making memories with her new little baby Dieter.
