We were so inspired by all the lovely young women who entered our wardrobe giveaway. We loved reading everyone’s stories. Because there was no way to decide between all the amazing entries we used a random number generator and we are pleased to announce Cheyenne Romney is the recipient of the She Gives wardrobe Giveaway.
Cheyenne received her mission call last month and will be serving in the Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission, where THREE of her cousins have already served and where her Aunt and Uncle are currently serving!
Cheyenne is from New Mexico and will be the fifth missionary from her family. Her mother, father and older brother have all served and her other brother is currently serving in Argentina.

Here is a little bit of what Cheyenne wrote in her entry:
“...the deeper reason as to why I want to serve is to share the most important message with people. A message of Jesus Christ. A message of his infinite love. A message of peace, joy and hope. This message has changed my life. His church is on the Earth again. He gave his life for me...for everyone! And then he lived again, he suffered and walked alone so that we never have to. He understands us perfectly. Because of him we will all live again. Death is not the end. Families can be together forever. Because of Him we can start again, we can have a clean slate and a new beginning. Through Him, guilt becomes peace, regret becomes relief. Despair turns to hope. His message brings peace, joy, love, purpose and hope. His message is for all to hear. I will experience greater joy, I'll see people find hope. I'll learn greater love. I will watch miracles happen in people's lives. His gospel heals souls. I will gladly give 18 months of my life to share his gospel.”
Cheyenne is planning to finish her education and become a speech pathologist. She wants to find a worthy young man to marry in the Temple and hopes to have children and adopt from Africa as well.
We are so excited to help Cheyenne get going on her mission and wish her the very best while she serves the Lord.
